Competent Person

A competent person (CP) is defined as a person with sufficient training, experience, knowledge or other qualities to assist in undertaking the task in question.

We recognise that not all employers have either the resource or the time to appoint someone in-house to train as a ‘competent person’ as defined within MHSWR 1999.

We therefore provide this service in a cost-effective way as an external consultant, providing support, guidance, advice and documentation that enables your business to demonstrate it retains the services of a competent person.

All of our Consultants are members of IOSH and able to deliver practical advice and solutions that help your business comply with health and safety legislation.

Call us today to see how we can provide a tailored and cost-effective solution that can ensure your company engage a competent person today!
